“My GJ gave me a second chance at enteral feeding when my stomach wasn’t working well enough. It also enabled me to absorbed my medications more effectively. Being connected to a pump all the time is challenging. I missed my freedom, but I could make adaptations. Having two access routes was helpful, thought it also required a little extra care and meant a bulkier tube.”
